What shipping methods do you use?

I can personally deliver in Brisbane City for large orders. Beyond that Australia Post is the preferred shipping method. Couriers can also be used. Costs will de determined at the time.

What is the lead time?

Products in stock are posted within 24 hours. If they need to be manufactured, then allow 5-6 weeks. Commissioned scarves allow 3 months.

How are the scarves packaged?

The scarves come in a simple box, with a brochure explaining the design.

Are these products made in Australia?

Each scarf is designed by Catherine Baudet. A watercolour painting is done in Brisbane, and then a fine art scan is produced in Brisbane. The scan is sent to a scarf manufacturer in China, the world’s largest producer of silk. They have the sophisticated machinery for printing on silk and cutting. They also roll or fray the edges and then ship to Brisbane.

The silk company has a WRAP certificate which verifies ethical standards in manufacturing.

The cashmere and silk, and the wool and silk scarves and pashminas are woven by the different manufacturers, subject to Catherine’s specifications. Minimum orders for these products are 50.

Can a scarf be created with an aerial of a particular place?

Yes, an aerial of a city hosting an international conference for example can be done in similar style to the Brisbane aerial or Sydney aerial. Prices will be quoted at the time.

Do discount rates apply for multiple orders?

Yes, 20% discount for between 5-10 scarves, 30% more than 10 scarves. For marketplace sales at retail price, 30% of sales revenue remains with the host depending on the volume of sales.

Can these products be supplied in large quantities?

Yes, the manufactures have a minimum order of 35, but 50 or 100 or more is possible.

Can packing be customised?

Yes, packaging can be branded- quotes will be given at the time of ordering
